You have the choice of battling a trophy size halibut on the Cook Inlet, fighting a world record salmon on the famous Kenai and Kasilof Rivers, or maybe a beautiful float for Rainbows and Dolly Varden. Try a little of everything or choose just one type of fishing. Try our special Combo Halibut & King Salmon Saltwater fishing through May. Fly-out options available.

River Fishing Trips
We offer fully guided  breath taking scenic fishing trips down either the Kenai or Kasilof River. Enjoy fishing for the mighty king salmon, the aerobatic silver salmon, and the plentiful sockeye salmon as well as the rainbow trout and dolly vardens. (Species of salmon depends on when you come.) Guide, boat, gear, and filleting included in the cost of your trip. $200 per person.

Halibut Fishing Charters
Come fish the halibut capital of the world...the Cook Inlet...in the beautiful quaint fishing village of Ninilchik, Alaska. Ninilchik is the closest grounds for fishing these barn door sized flat giants. No 3 hour boat rides here...you are usually fishing within minutes! All of our charters use 30 foot boats with marine heads and price includes captain/guide, gear, tackle, bait, and filleting of fish. $235 per person.

Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod Combo Trips
These are truly for the adventurous hardcore fisherman. These trips are 8-12 hours of hardhitting action. On these trips we go out in search of the true goliaths of the abyss. $399 per person.

Group Discounts Available. All packages include accommodations AND fully guided fishing excursions (6-7 hours in duration). Prices subject to local taxes. Complete fish processing services available at additional cost.

Reservation Policies

All prices based on double occupancy. We require a 50% deposit on all reservations with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival or May 15, whichever comes first. Notice of confirmation will be sent when deposit is received by electronic mail or postal service.

Package Cancellation Policies

On fishing and lodging packages a $250.00 cancellation fee is charged per person for any cancellation. We require a written notice of cancellation. For cancellations received less than 90 days prior to arrival, the cancellation charge is 100% of the total cost. Non-appearance will result in no refunds. No refunds on early departures and missed trips. "No refunds on discounted trips, but we will reschedule your trip if possible."  We recommend travel insurance! Alaska Half Price reserves the right to makes changes for the safety and proper handling of clients. We are always aware of safety. However, outdoor activities of this nature are not risk free. At times, trips in the ocean will be cancelled due to weather. Alaska Half Price reserves the right to substitute these trips. We do not assume responsibility for injury to clients, personal belongings, or for time and expense incurred. Upon making the deposit to Alaska Half Price, the depositor agrees to be bound by all of the above stated terms and conditions. Prices are subject to change.
